Poker Night in America made it’s first trip to the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas to bring three days of high stakes cash game filming to the Grand Ballroom. We were also on hand capture the final table of the $1675 Event #7 of the Grand Series for our upcoming TV show “The Final Table”, where we crowned our most recent champion.
Vinicius Lima ended up taking down the tournament, after clawing his way back to first place from third place at the start of the Final Five.
Lima worked his way through a field of 136 players, and cashed a cool $56,366 for his efforts.
His friends and family were on the rail throughout the final table, and when the river came on the final hand securing his win, the entire group exploded in cheers. Lima said he’d take the money and add it to his bankroll, but lobster, shrimp, and drinks all around for the people supporting him at the rail were also mentioned in his victory interview.
